Dr. Erica at Wig Doctor worked miracles for me. I recently was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer and was devastated when I starting losing my hair after one chemotherapy treatment. After losing my hair to chemotherapy I instinctively went to a generic wig store where the staff was not very helpful and I had to figure it out on my own. I purchased a wig that was the same length and color as my actual hair. After one week I was unhappy with the wig. It was extremely uncomfortable, the cap did not have a snug fit on my scalp and it was very heavy and hot. I went to the Wig Dr after reading her reviews. Thank God I did!. Not only is Dr. Gamble extremely knowledgeable , more importantly she is patient and kind! She took one look at my wig and knew exactly what was wrong. She taught me about wigs and how to care for the wig at home. She let me try on multiple wigs, colors, and styles and she along with her stylist (Toni) made me feel beautiful with each one. My Mom has suffered from alopecia for years. Her hair was so thin you could literally see her scalp. She was so self-conscious about it that she rarely wanted to leave the house. She had tried every hair thickening technique you could think of and had no improvement. She ordered a wig online and was incredibly disappointed when she got it because it didn’t look like “the model”. She looked so defeated. So, I took matters into my own hands and decided she needed a professional to show her how to wear a wig correctly, and I am so glad I did! Ok this was so much better than I expected. I lost about 1/2 my hair due to brain cancer radiation so I have some hair, but there are bald patches. I wasnt sure what was going to be right for me and this was the perfect place to go to find out. Amazing experience! The wigs are excellently priced and very natural looking. The shop is cozy and glamorous; it's really a boutique feel! Erica was very attentive, helping us choose styles that best fit me and my mom. In fact, she even let us know when a style was not really for us.
